This policy explains what personal information VentureVoice Media collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what choices you have. It applies to venturevoicemedia.com and the services we provide through it.
VentureVoice Media (“VentureVoice,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a public relations and media company based in Los Angeles, California. We distribute press releases and provide related communications services to businesses.
We are the business responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|
| Identifiers | Name, email address, and company name |
| Submission content | Press release copy, headlines, summaries, quotes, metadata, and thumbnail images you upload |
| Commercial information | Services purchased or enquired about, and correspondence with us |
| Payment information | Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number. |
We may receive information from publicly available sources, business partners, and media databases when researching placement opportunities for your announcement.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information (such as government ID numbers, health data, or precise geolocation), and we ask that you do not send it to us.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising as those terms are defined under California law.
Press releases are published material. Anything you submit for distribution — including names, quotes, contact details, company information, and images — is intended for public release and will be distributed to media outlets, wire services, and search engines.
Once a release is distributed, we cannot recall or delete it from third-party publishers, news aggregators, or search engine indexes. Please do not include personal information in a submission that you do not want to be permanently public.
You are responsible for confirming that you have the rights and consents needed for any content and images you submit, including consent from any individual named or quoted.
We use cookies and similar technologies to run the site, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site from working.
Our web pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your IP address is shared with Google in order to serve those files.
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no consistent industry standard for how these signals should be honoured, and we do not currently respond to them.
If you are a California resident, you may have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act:
Email press@venturevoicemedia.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We will verify your identity before acting, usually by confirming details you have already given us. We aim to respond within 45 days, and will tell you if we need more time.
An authorised agent may submit a request on your behalf with written permission, which we may ask to verify.
California Civil Code §1798.83 permits California residents to request information about personal information disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information for that purpose.
Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of their personal information, and to appeal a decision we make about a request. Contact us using the details below and we will tell you what applies.
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, and afterwards only as long as required for legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. In general, we keep client and submission records for the duration of our working relationship and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet those obligations.
Published press releases remain public indefinitely and are outside our control once distributed.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If you believe your interaction with us is no longer secure, contact us immediately.
Our services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice.
We review this policy at least once a year.
